Custom offsite game for Class Dojo
The brief
Class Dojo is an education platform with a mission to bring communities together, and give kids learning experiences they love.
The team had played Loumee’s game The Puzzle before, and wanted a similar team game for their company offsite retreat but with custom designed elements.
In particular, they wanted to incorporate their company mission and values, as well as branding, into the game.
The game needed to be flexible, and work for groups playing together in the one space, but still using technology for automated scoring and presenting the results.
The program
We created a custom game with teams competing to solve a series of challenges that tied together Class Dojo’s mission and values in a subtle and creative way.
The game was a customised version of The Decision, developed in our platform so that it could be delivered easily via browser-based play.
We also produced a hard copy of the game to support teams playing in-person.

The outcome
The offsite retreat game was a success, with Salima Hirji, Head of Employee Experience, reporting that the engagement and energy was high, and that the staff loved the opportunity to do something that was both intellectually challenging, but also fun to solve as a team.
