Celebrating milestones with Zalora

There are many ways you can celebrate your colleagues and their contributions - gifting, dinners, drinks, and simple words of appreciation. But what would it take to go to the next level, to show them that you REALLY care?

The brief

The team from Zalora, Asia’s leading online fashion destination, wanted to arrange an unforgettable and impactful online event for one of their favorite and most dedicated staff members.

They asked Loumee to build a team-based game for their distributed team that incorporated and celebrated the staff member and their contribution to the organisation.

The program

We decided to build a custom version of one of our most popular games The Hunt- intertwined with objects, interests and ideas all linked to Zalora’s team member.

The group of over 100 staff attending the event were divided into 20 teams and, after a short ice breaker, given 40 minutes to try and solve the game, in a competition for both time and accuracy.

Afterwards, we tied together the game with a celebration of the team member and she spoke openly and emotionally to the group about how appreciated she felt.

Outcome

After the session, the organisers at Zalora, who participated in the game alongside their team, received a lot of praise for the thoughtfulness and effort they had gone to for the event.

Not a bad way to celebrate a big milestone!
